Photographer Laura McGraw has made a career out of doing what she loves; using her unique sense of style to create images that capture a moment that will be cherished forever.  Her approach to photography is much as it is to life; relaxed and with a sense of humor.

The magic portrayed in Laura’s images is very unique and shows a true love for new life and her art. “I am so honored to have a gift that can help parents hold-on to memories and of time that passes so very quickly.”  Laura looks for the uniqueness in every child and through playful interaction, perfect timing and state of the art equipment she freezes that expression, that look, or that smile that defines your child.  Her uncommon ability to connect with her tiny subjects along with her relaxed approach, results in wonderfully sincere and honest images.  “I enjoy every minute of each session; from the artistry of maternity photography and newborns, to the giggles of young children, my job rewards me every day” 

Laura is a graduate of Portland State University and has been a professional photographer since 1996.  “I am always looking for new photography courses.  I continue to study my art and both learn from and share with other in the field.”  Laura also mentors young photographers from her local Arts and Communication School.
